Jackpot 5.20-21.12

We needed a night away! As much as we LOVE our kids, it's important to have time away from the kids and enjoy quality time with each other when Brogan is home. We've never left both kids with a sitter for 24 hours straight and overnight, but it was worth it! Thanks Alissa!!! We took this pic in the car headed to Jackpot!
Because Brogan is a club member at Cactus Pete's Casino, we got a free room and some $ in food vouchers. We got to the casino around 6 PM and gambled until 2 AM! The plan was to each get $40 and when our $40 was gone, you're done. That didn't work out so well, but we didn't lose any money by the time it was all said and done! Ha Ha
Our favorite slot machine is this one called "Survivor". There is nothing to it, but it is so loud and so addicting you can't walk away! Brogan was on a winning streak when I took this picture. He's so hott!
With his $60 (yes it was only supposed to be $40) Brogan got clear down to $7 and he worked his way back up to $230.74! Yes...I know...he should have taken the money and walked away, but he didn't. To make a long story short, at the end of the night, he cashed out at $197.50. That included some Blackjack too so he was still on top $137.50!
Then my gambling comes into effect....oh boy...I have the worst luck EVER! It was sure fun and I got "up" a few different times, but I could never just walk away. My $40 turned into $60 and then Brogan kept telling me to put more money in. The $60 turned into $65, then $70, then Brogan gave me his last $20 to make it $90! I walked away without a freakin dime! Ha Ha! It was sure fun though! Definitely worth the 8 hours of gambling and free drinks! :-) By the time we paid $30 for dinner, spent $20 in gas to get there, and combined my loss with Brogan's gain, we broke even and the whole trip and night away was free. It was so much fun!
My brother Parker is the HR guy at Cactus Pete's so he met up with us before we left the next morning and treated us to a delicious breakfast at the cafe. Thanks Parker!
